Okay, so most of this web site is fairly lighthearted and humorous. But I'm going to take a moment to be serious. Please, unless you are in favor of murdering animals and domestic terrorism don't ever give money to PETA. They talk about ethical treatment of animals, but is killing them by the thousands ethical? I'm not an animal rights activist. I eat meat and wear leather. But I do like animals. I'm against killing animals for no reason, like the harvest of sharks for their fins and elephants for their tusks. But that is my distaste of wastefulness more than any belief in animals having any inherant rights. But the way PETA treats animals makes me sick. The SPCA places over 70% of the animals they rescue into homes. When PETA "rescues" an animal, that animal has an 80% chance of ending up dead in a dumpster. You see, they have no interest in spending their money helping actual animals. They would rather spend their money converting your children to their animal worship religion. They put their money into violent "protests", not helping animals. If you don't believe me, please check out the information at www.petakillsanimals.com and The Center For Consumer Freedom. Please consider signing the petition to revoke PETA's tax exempt status. There's no guarantee that the petition will do any good, but it might be worth a try.
