Why do you mock me Microsoft?
I finally got a replacement computer for the one that was stolen. Yet, I'm posting this from my tiny EEE pc. Why? Because my new computer came pre-installed with Windows Vista, which I've already found to be as retarded as my hamster*.
When I got my little Linux computer, I plugged it in and turned it on, and I was on the internet in a few minutes. The new computer, which is supposed to be better than my old one, took three reboots and half an hour just to get Windows up and running. And then I spent the last three hours trying to figure out why it won't connect to the internet. I can get it connected to the local network just fine, but that's as far as it'll go. And I can't find anything else that I can change or adjust to get it working.
So far all I've accomplished on my new computer is a game of minesweeper. I'd gladly trade with the thief who took my old computer. They could have the shiny new piece of Vista crap if I could have my real computer back.
